to partly answer your remark, I have added a message "Do you want the default sounds ?" when configuring a train for which the audio features have not yet been defined. Up to now, this message only appears when opening the "Sounds Effect" dialog box. This is not a great improvement, but it paves the way to a future use of this feature when a train is installed on the railway. It is a "last minute" modification brought to CATrain 2.5.0 and doing more was too risky without further examination and testing. Opening the "Sounds Effect" dialog box outside the whole train configuration context is not trivial!
